CONTACTING US DURING “THE BIG FREEZE”
As the cold weather continues across the UK, we’re trying to provide the best service possible to our customers. However, we’re receiving a lot of calls and some members of our team are suffering the same travel troubles as our customers, which means you may experience a longer waiting time than we’d like.
We apologise for this and are doing all we can to answer as many calls as we can as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, if your query isn’t urgent please use our ask a question feature to see if you can find an answer online or try calling back later.

• Travel insurance treats swine flu like any other medical condition that may result in a claim. Try not to be caught up in sensational press reporting and remain calm and focused.
• If you experience any changes or delays to your intended travel plans be sure to obtain written confirmation from the organisation involved to aid in making a claim.
• Keep any receipts, tickets stubs or any other evidence that may be relevant to a travel insurance claim. When travelling in Europe, always carry an Emergency Health Insurance Card (formally know as the E111). You can apply for an EHIC online.
• If you are travelling on an organised trip, such as a package holiday, contact your tour operator for more information in the first instance. If you didn’t book your trip through a tour operator, contact the providers of the individual elements of your holiday to discuss alternative arrangements.
